|The curse of the Labourite bluster strikes again. One minute they're talking tough, drafting policies to crack down on terrorism.......a couple of months later the proposed laws get watered down to an embarrassing mess.|
LONDON (AFX) - Plans to make it illegal to praise terrorist attacks have been diluted by Home Secretary Charles Clarke. So it's alright to glorify terror once it's happened then Charles? Pathetic.
He said he had made amendments to draft clauses for the forthcoming Terrorism Bill, and these would now make it clear that for an 'offence of glorifying terrorism to be committed, the offender must have also intended to incite further acts of terror'.
